Born in Milan, Roberto Ligresti moved to New York right after graduating from the Academy of Art of Brera, Italy, to pursue an illustrator's career. After a brief but extremely successful stint in advertising as one of Madison Avenue's most in demand storyboard artists, he eventually moved behind the camera specializing in Hair and Beauty Photography. Roberto's images have been winning the prestigious North American Hairstyling Award consistently since 2010, the Association Internationale Presse Professionel first prize twice, and Wella Trendvision in 2017. He has worked with Celebrities like Carol Alt and Veronica Webb, and his client's list includes Allure Magazine, Clairol. Conair, E’bel, Farouk, Goldwell, JC Penney Salons, Kenra, Keune, Mizani, Modern Salon, Moroccan Oil, Obliphica, Pivot Point, Revlon, Sebastian, Sedu, Sexy Hair, Tatler Magazine, Tom and Linda Platt's lookbooks, and Wella. Roberto Ligresti is based in New York and owns a boutique studio in the Seaport District.
