Amir Tikriti is a visual artist born in Los Angeles, California, but is currently based in Paris, France. He works primarily as a photographer, art-wear creator, and recycling center. In 2019, he was a recipient of the Grand Prix Eyes on Talents Photography & Sustainability and had his photographs exhibited in front of the Hôtel de Ville in Paris. Earlier the same year, he was invited by l'Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris to present his photographs, an installation, and a défilé during the annual “Les rendez-vous de l'histoire de l'Institut du monde arabe”, and had solo exhibitions of his photography, art-wear, and ‘zines at Librairie 0fr. and La Gare Expérimentale in Paris. Also in 2019, he displayed his art-wear and photographs as part of a collective exhibition entitled, “Ceci N'Est Pas Un Déchet”, which was invited to be shown at Who’s Next in Paris, and presented his ‘zines at “Intimité, Imprimé, Collection”, an art book fair organized by UQO Gallery in Gatineau, Canada. In 2018, he was a finalist for La Bourse du Talent in France. His ‘zines are available at 0fr. in Paris; Offprint-Luma in Arles, France; Tipi Bookshop in Bruxelles, Belgium; and Artbook @ Hauser & Wirth in Los Angeles, California, USA.
