BIOGRAPHY
Roya Partovi is a Creative Art Director with a colorful past. Born in Iran during the Revolution of 1978, her family soon relocated to Germany, where Roya was raised until the age of sixteen. After traveling the world with her family, she finally settled in California in 1994. She is fluent in Farsi/Persian, German and English. Roya graduated from the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, in 2004. After an internship at Fallon, Santa Monica, where she worked on clients like BMW, Citibank, Subway, Amazon.com, and Silk Soy, she took a full-time position at Saatchi & Saatchi LA. At Saatchi LA she worked on just about every Toyota vehicle launch, as well as pro bono clients like Revlon Walk/Run for Women’s Cancer, Toys for Tots, Make a Wish Foundation and Venice Arts. In May 2010, she made the big move to NYC to work at Euro RSCG as a lead creative on Charles Schwab. Roya continued her advertising career as a VP Associate Creative Director at Publicis NY working on Procter & Gamble, including National and Global Advertising for Crest, Oral-B, Scope, Tampax and Vicks. She also worked on brands like Cadillac, Nestlé, Ferrero Rocher Kinder and LG. In 2016, she took a position at Mohawk, a technology driven startup company, where she helped build and grow the entire creative department. In only a year, she launched and branded Mohawk's in-house clients, Xtava, Vremi, Rif6, and Kailua. She also brought to life an in-house product concept, Spelly Straws, on Kickstarter that raised it's goal in just the first week. Roya continues building relationships and creatively leading new partnerships with bebe, Puma, and many other brands.
