Born in Germany, Andreas Hofweber's passion for photography started at age 6 when he acquired his father’s Rolleiflex after he died in a car accident. Growing up he continued experimenting with photography creating images with family and friends. After living in Italy Andreas moved to New York in 2007 to fulfill his longtime dream. Currently with degrees in photography and filmmaking he combines his creative talents for a new innovative audience for fashion, beauty and entertainment. His cutting edge style and use of color is in high demand for campaigns combining photographs and moving pictures. Andreas stands out in the industry for his professionalism while maintaining a fun easy going attitude on set. Andreas’ emotion also shows in his charity work. He has documented illness, poverty and the impact of global warming in Africa, South America, Asia and The Arctic.Through his photographs he has brought awareness to different parts of the world and supports several non-profit organizations. Andreas is currently living in Brooklyn, New York and works extensively in Europe.
