Croatian born stylist Gro Curtis started his career at Vogue Paris and Vogue Hommes International under the guidance of Anastasia Barbieri. After moving to New York he worked with legendary stylists Melanie Ward and Karl Templer in 2012. He later joined famed editor Aliona Doletskaya to launch European editions of Interview magazine, where he was an international fashion editor for two years. At the same time Gro started to develop his freelance career as a stylist and consultant. As a stylist Gro has worked with a wide range of talents from iconic names such as Courtney Love, Jessica Lange, and Parker Posey, as well as Hollywood’s generation of new talent Emma Roberts, Juno Temple, Evan Peters, and Tye Sheridan, who Gro has not only styled but image consulted for the worldwide promotion of blockbuster movie “X-MEN: Apocalypse”. In addition to being the Fashion Director of womenswear HEROINE magazine and menswear HERO magazine, which was described by Alex Hawgood from the New York Times as a “cutting edge publication of new generation offering niche perspective on fashion from the irreverent to the fearless”, he also contributes to international editions of Vogue and GQ magazines, as well as Dazed and Confused. Gro Curtis lives and works between New York and London.
