Photographer Jeff Olson's work has been featured in magazines like W Magazine, Vogue Espana, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Marie Claire and the coveted covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions to name a few. In addition to his extensive editorial work for both American and various international publications, Jeff has created popular advertising campaigns working with clients like Perry Ellis, HBO, MTV, Jantzen Swimwear, J. Crew, Watercult, Denimocracy, C&C California, and many more. Originally born in the mid-west, Jeff Olson moved to Manhattan to attend the School of Visual Arts. Shortly thereafter, he began assisting photographers including Bruce Webber, Mario Testino and Peter Lindbergh. Drawing inspiration from the beauty in the world around him, Jeff has developed a style all his own. His work has often been described as cinematic, alluring, atmospheric and honest. Jeff has been known to capture his subjects with a natural ease and he's been called a master of light and color. Jeff has headlined two solo exhibitions at The Chelsea Hotel and the Peter Halpert Gallery in Manhattan. In addition, his imagery has been featured in several group exhibitions in Manhattan and Monte Carlo. Jeff Olson currently splits his time between New York, Los Angeles and Europe. He also enjoys traveling to wherever his clients dream up.
