Brandon Petulla is a recent graduate of Parsons School for Design with a BFA in Photography. His primary focus is photography, he has a wide background in graphic design and 3D modeling, which he incorporates into his photographic work. Brandon’s work primarily focuses on objects and the autonomous presence it brings itself in an environment. The photographs he creates intersect with formal connotations as they compete with his own personal experiences, such as topics of sexuality, mental and physical health, and the haptic of an object. His work grazes the line between 2D and 3D where interpolation takes place with technology and sculpture, making the piece hard to define how it itself was created. Brandon was born and raised in Malibu, California but currently resides in New York City where he works full-time in fashion at alice + olivia and works as a Freelance Photographer.
