Born in New York and raised in the South, I returned to New York in the late 90s after studying Graphic Design at East Carolina University School of Art. I quickly found a job designing DVD and VHS covers for titles from Universal, Paramount and Columbia pictures all the while with the intention to return to my first love that started it all, photography. After I was commissioned to photograph Roberto Cavalli for an Italian magazine, I was off and running on my new chapter as a professional photographer. But first I needed to pay my dues and began assisting various fashion photographers in NYC. Once I had enough of assisting and with some skills under my belt I began shooting for clients such as Belk and Ralph Lauren.
