Mick de Lint was born in 1981 and raised in Amsterdam. After finishing high school in Vancouver, Mick moved to New York to study theatre. When he returned to Amsterdam in 2008, he shifted from acting to directing and fashion photography. Perhaps, his brief incursion into acting is the reason why his portraits and fashion series are focused on capturing real emotions in a minimal way. Mick's lighthearted visual approach has already granted him collaborations with clients like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Nike and Asics. As well as having the pleasure to work with supermodels such as Doutzen Kroes, Imaan Hammam and Gigi Hadid.
