Aminata Gueye was born in France and raised in the Paris art world, where she discovered makeup. She instantly fell in love with fashion and art and followed her passion for makeup through a traditional path and studied by assisting her mentor, the world renowned Peter Philips; whose core team she was part of for eight years. Aminata established herself in the industry as having a truly unique vision and an unmistakable talent. Her background in art and fashion and her self-taught education, gave her an unusual approach to makeup. Beauty always comes first! Her work has been featured in publications including American Vogue September issue 2016, Italian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview C Magazine, Allure, Elle, Nylon... She has had the great fortune of collaborating with some of the world’s leading photographers including Paolo Roversi, Daniel Jackson, Karl Largerfeld, Greg Kadel, Sofia + Mauro, David Bellemere, Luciana + Franco, Katya Rawles, Bryan Adams, Arthur Elgort Celebrities, actresses, singers like Zoé Kravitz, Sharon Hogan, Melanie Laurent, Naomi Campbell, Kelis, Mya, Kiera knigtley, Solange Knowles, AminAtA moved to the US late fall of 2015 and is currently based in New York City.
